About

Hello! My name is Teesta Bhola-Shah and I’m an 11th grader in high school living in New Jersey. I created the blog MyAdoptionStories.com to share information, resources, and REAL stories about adoption.

This website is a space to share real voices from the adoption community, with a focus on multiracial experiences. This is deeply personal to me because of my younger brother who is adopted and is ¼ Native American. Through interviews and original articles featuring people connected to adoption, I hope to shed light on the complexities of adoption.

My goal is to create a platform that listens to the stories of all people. A place where adoptees, birth families, and adoptive families can share their stories, joys, struggles. Every story is shared with care.

Please subscribe and share! If you know anyone connected to adoption, share it with them, as we’re always looking for new stories to feature.
